First appearance of Captain America. The courage to be blunt is one of my favorite things about Jack Kirby.
On the one hand there’s the bluntness of literally punching Hitler, along with the clear motivation implied by the map of the U.S.A., the “Sabotage Plans For U.S.A.” booklet, and the guy on the microphone giving the guy on the T.V. direct orders to blow up the (straightforwardly labeled) U.S. Munitions Works.
On the other hand, there is Bucky.
