Man I gotta say I loved this sketch. I loved it because it felt like it was done purely for the enjoyment of the writer. And clearly the impetus started with whoever wrote it one day saying “What the fuck is Burn Notice?”. A question we have all asked ourselves. Sudeikis killed it. In a different time period this sketch could have been written about “Jag”.

2. Aziz also has a joke about people not knowing shit about Burn Notice.

3. You guys, Burn Notice is GREAT. It’s about a spy who gets a “burn notice”. He’s no longer a spy, and stuck in Miami. He has to figure out who burned him, and he gets help from his crazy girlfriend (who is ex-IRA) and his buddy who’s a retired spy and scam artist played by Bruce Campbell. Alot of the episodes involve Michael doing jobs for people (kinda private eye style).

So there, Burn Notice. watch it on Hulu.

I watched the first season and a half of Burn Notice, and I can vouch for it being fun.  If a little repetitive.

One of my favorite things is that the lead actor is clearly trying suppress a hardcore Boston accent, and occasionally it slips out.  (In the real world, suave ex-spies don’t have Boston accents.)
