Attempted to go to the Gentrify Brooklyn improv comedy show tonight. Got off at the wrong subway stop. Realized my error, decided I’d gone one stop too far. Got back on the subway, backtracking one stop. Got out, still not the right stop, thought maybe I’d been correct the first time, tried to walk back. Walked in the wrong direction for seven blocks. Half an hour late for the show, still unsure where it was, decided to just walk home. Note to future self: Union Street, not 9th Street or Prospect Avenue.
New Year’s Day is hard.
