On Christmas day, for some reason, I had an extended reverie about Aquaman and the exact nature of his fish-talking powers. Does he hypnotize them? Do they do what he says because they’re afraid of him? Or maybe fish just never get asked to do anything, so it’s novel and interesting for them? I bet I could find out on wikipedia, but I prefer to leave it a mystery.
